CHERRY TREE LODGE

GRADED 3 STAR WITH ENJOY ENGLAND APRIL 2009
Cherry Tree Lodge is perfectly located in the charming hamlet of Plain an Gwarry which is a fifteen minute walk to Marazion / St Michaels Mount and a ten-minute drive to Penzance. It is surrounded by rolling countryside and woodland with fabulous walks in all directions. Horse riding stables are right on our doorstep and offer a unique way to take in the stunning surroundings. Marazion boasts some of the safest bathing in the country from its golden sands and dunes. It is also a very well-known and popular bird watching location.
Lands End and St Ives are only ten miles away along with some of the most spectacular coastal beaches and scenery that includes Sennen Cove and Gwenva.
Cornwall is renowned for its gentle climate, influenced by the Gulf Stream, but just to be sure; all our accommodations are centrally heated and double glazed.
CHERRY TREE LODGE is a large detached house with an extensive garden and recreation area to the rear of the property. The rear garden offers safe sanctuary to families with young children which can be gated off on both sides of the property. There is also a concreted patio area which is ideal for barbeques. The house is situated on a quiet country road with rolling fields and pretty woodland copses to explore.
THE GROUND FLOOR comprises of a large comfortable lounge with TV and large French windows opening up to the rear gardens. There is a separate dining area, a large utility room / wash room with washing machine and dryer. The heart of the house centres on the large open plan kitchen / dining room with additional seating around an open hearth fire place and TV and DVD player. The kitchen area has a new country style fitted kitchen with fitted hob cooker & extraction. Equipment includes a dish washer, fridge freezer and all necessary cooking utensils to service up to eight people. The kitchen has views over both the front and rear gardens. There is also an additional ground floor toilet and hand wash facility. Access to the gardens from the kitchen is through the utility room with a stable door. The house has full oil fired central heating along with an electric immersion.
THE FIRST FLOOR consists of four double bedrooms rooms (one with extra single bed) of which the very large master room has its own en-suite luxury bathroom and shower. The other three bedrooms all have their own wash basins, mirrors and shaver points. All the bedrooms have large built in wardrobes, aerial sockets and telephone sockets. The views from all bedrooms are attractive rural scenes overlooking fields and woodlands. There is another modern bathroom with toilet and shower to service the other three bedrooms.
PARKING: The house has a secure garage and an addition parking space in the drive. On street parking immediately outside the house is unrestricted with little competition for space for parking additional vehicles on this country road location.
